25 MWp
In 2023, the Greenbuddies Consulting team worked on a land assessment for a potential PV plant in Želkovice u Libomyšle for MANGHI Czech Republic s.r.o. As part of this project, we prepared a detailed administrative study of the land, an economic study of the project, and an assessment of the technical aspects of the surrounding infrastructure. It also included a framework design of the PV plant and a preliminary opinion of the distribution network (DS). We also dealt with the framework calculation of the costs for the construction and operation of the PV plant.

The Growing Importance of Agrivoltaics in Europe
Agrivoltaics—the simultaneous use of land for both solar energy production and crop cultivation—presents a promising solution for increasing electricity generation from renewable sources. According to recent research, particularly in Central Europe, agrivoltaics could meet up to 68% of the region's current energy demand while also boosting the yield of certain crops.
