GreenBuddies continued its strong growth across the European renewable energy market in 2025. The energy group achieved record revenues of CZK 1.1 billion (€44.2 million) and profit before tax of CZK 51.2 million (€2.1 million).
At the same time, 2025 became the strongest year in the company’s history in terms of delivered photovoltaic capacity. GreenBuddies completed PV projects with a total installed capacity of 233 MWp.
Beyond photovoltaic construction, the company further expanded its activities in battery energy storage systems (BESS), energy flexibility and integrated renewable energy solutions.

Record year for photovoltaic EPC construction
In 2025, GreenBuddies delivered photovoltaic projects across multiple segments, including utility-scale solar parks, rooftop installations and projects combined with battery storage.
One of the major Czech projects was the 42 MWp photovoltaic power plant in Modlany combined with a 42 MWh battery storage system. The project belongs among the largest PV and BESS installations of its kind in the Czech Republic.
Another important project was Radvanice, where GreenBuddies connected three separate photovoltaic plants with a combined capacity of approximately 7 MWp together with battery storage systems with a total capacity of 12 MWh.
In the rooftop segment, GreenBuddies completed eight photovoltaic installations at Albert stores with a combined installed capacity exceeding 4.5 MWp. The company acted as the general EPC contractor for Monkstone Solar.

GreenBuddies supports investors and energy companies with engineering, procurement and construction of renewable energy assets across Europe.
European expansion continued across Germany, Austria and other markets
GreenBuddies continued expanding its international activities in 2025.
Major projects included the 30 MWp Killally photovoltaic power plant in Ireland, the 24 MWp Silberstedt project in Germany and the 19.6 MWp repowering project of the Büttel solar park in Germany.
The company also completed projects in Austria, Belgium and Scandinavia. In Austria, GreenBuddies delivered two solar carport projects, while in Luxembourg it commissioned the country’s first ground-mounted photovoltaic projects.
European expansion continued with the opening of an Italian branch, supporting further EPC project development in the region.
