The Greenbuddies team is completing an ambitious project – the construction of a ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 30 MWp near the town of Skånum in Sweden. This solar park will generate enough electricity for more than 6,000 households per year and accelerate Sweden's transition to renewable energy sources.
The project involved the installation of 47,808 photovoltaic modules with a unit capacity of 635 Wp, 83 inverters, and 24,200 piles. The scope of work included the mechanical assembly of structures and modules, DC electrical installation, and grounding.
One of the main challenges of the project was the rocky terrain, which led to an above-average number of rejected piles and significantly complicated the framing. To overcome these conditions, the Greenbuddies team used modern technology, including tablets and specialised applications for continuous monitoring of work progress and subsoil quality control to ensure that the highest installation standards were met. Despite these complications, the implementation team maintained a high level of cooperation and quality control, and the project was completed on schedule.
