The project includes 4,764 special bifacial solar panels with transparent stripes that let some of the light through. The installation features Zimmermann's new south-facing mounting system, with the panels raised to a height of 3 meters.
In addition, special hooks have been integrated to support the grid system and the irrigation of crops underneath. This arrangement allows for continuous farming activity while minimising land take and preserving eligibility for agricultural subsidies in Austria.
