Andrey Reifschneider - Chief International EPC Buddy
- What is your position, and how would you describe your agenda?
I have been working at Greenbuddies since March 2021. Before that I worked as a project manager in implementation, and since 2023, I have also worked as a team leader for implementation at our sister company Greenbuddies Charging. During this time, I successfully implemented 26 projects for our parent company, Greenbuddies. In the Greenbuddies Charging division, my team has implemented around 170 projects – 70 of which I personally completed as project manager. The projects covered a wide range of areas: EPC and general contracting orders, ground-mounted systems, carports, rooftop systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar thermal power plants, charging infrastructure and even a floating PV system.
- What project are you currently working on? What is interesting about it, and why do you enjoy it?
At the beginning of this year, I took over the management of our German branch, which specialises in EPC projects, based on my experience. Due to high demand, my role has since been expanded to the international level, so that I am now responsible for EPC activities across Europe. This task is particularly exciting because I am not only responsible for the implementation of construction projects but also have the opportunity to organise and introduce new processes to achieve our company's goals.
- What has surprised you most about working with Greenbuddies?
After my experience in a traditional corporate structure, I was most surprised by the openness and trust that is practised by the owners, management and all colleagues at all levels. Everyone is committed to achieving results – we are a real team with very low staff turnover, despite the enormous growth we have experienced over the last three years. I consider our contribution to the energy transition to be considerable, and all this takes place in a very friendly and positive atmosphere. This also includes joint activities such as international team-building trips, joint breakfasts and many other events.
- What do you do when you aren't working?
Even though work takes up a large part of my time, I try to be active in my free time – almost all of my hobbies have to do with travelling. I have already travelled to Africa, America, Asia and almost every corner of the European continent. As a former ski instructor, I enjoy spending the winter skiing or ice skating. In summer, cycling, paddleboarding and beach volleyball are on the agenda. Thanks to a colleague, I discovered a new hobby this month: I successfully completed the Open Water Diver course. This opens up whole new possibilities and destinations that I would like to explore in the future.

Monika Meyer - HR Buddy
- What is your position, and how would you describe your agenda?
I work as an HR Specialist, and my role involves managing the entire employee lifecycle, as well as organising benefits, workshops and teambuilding events to encourage people to connect outside of the office and have some fun experiences together.
- What was your first impression of Greenbuddies?
I love the informal environment and atmosphere here. It is really worth it.
- Can you tell me about some of the people you've met while working at your current job?
I am really happy to have found not only colleagues but also friends here. For example Klara from Marketing is my work bestie. 😊

David Poláček - Engineering Buddy
- What is your position and how would you describe your agenda?
My position is a PV system designer. My agenda includes preparing technical designs of photovoltaic installation, creating project documentation, performing calculations to optimize PV performace. I also communicate with clients regarding technical solutions about their PV system to ensure it is perfect.
- What do you find most challenging about your job?
Since this is my first job in this field, it was generally a challenge for me to dive into all the responsibilities that this job entails, such as being responsible for ideas and technical solutions for PV systems, communicating with clients, and conducting various site inspections. I have gained a lot of experience thanks to this job, for which I am grateful.
- Can you tell me about some of the people you've met while working at your current job?
I am closest to my Russian colleagues here. They teach me Russian, and in return I teach them proper Czech. I enjoy observing their customs, which we don't have in Czechia. I am glad to have them here because they can pass on valuable experience to me, not only in the pub but also in technical and work matters.
- What do you do when you aren't working?
I am a active person, I go to the gym and play soccer actively. I play board games with colleagues and friends and occasionally go to horror escape rooms. When I have vacation or more free time, I go hiking in the mountains.
