New investment into Czech solar power plants with a value of more than 100 million EUR

“At this point, we have already identified a number of projects that could be developed in cooperation with both of our companies, with a combined capacity of hundreds of MW. These are ground-mounted solar power plants that will transform vacant or inefficiently used land into energy productions. At the same time, we want to make it possible for Czech businesses to utilise affordable green energy and boost the country’s energy security,” says Petr Štajner, Chief Consulting & Development Buddy, regarding the new partnership’s initial steps.

Combining the local expertise of Greenbuddies and our recently founded subsidiary Greenbuddies Energy CZ with the global experience of the significant, renowned French investor and developer Langa International, whose projects currently exceed 3.5 GW, will result in the introduction of new solar project construction opportunities to the Czech market with an estimated total value of over EUR 100 million over the course of five years. A potential expansion of the collaboration outside of the Czech Republic is something that is anticipated in the future.

“A typical project created through the collaboration will have a capacity of up to 10 MW. We will take care of all stages of the project, from finding the land, preparing the project documentation, securing all permits, and purchasing the components, to the construction and commissioning of the supplied technology,” says Petr Štajner.
