Over the last three months, we have completed several solar projects in Germany, Sweden and Italy – ranging from rooftop installations to large utility-scale ground-mounted power stations. In the latest edition of Market Footprint, our Chief Sales Buddy, Dan Štajner, summarises Greenbuddies’ most interesting projects and plans for the coming months.

Dear readers, business partners,

Welcome to the latest edition of our quarterly Market Footprint, in which we summarise what we at Greenbuddies have completed in recent months, what we are currently working on, and where our next steps will take us.

The list of projects over the past three months once again confirms which countries form the backbone of our business. We have completed seven installations in Germany, two in Sweden and one in Italy.

Although we now only focus on the C&I segment to a limited extent, this time our overview also includes a rooftop installation in Schifferstadt, Germany, which we built for our long-standing client ENGIE Deutschland GmbH. Otherwise, as usual, ground-mounted solar power plants predominated, and these now make up the bulk of our project portfolio.

Among the larger completed projects, I would particularly like to highlight the 38 MWp utility-scale installation in Sweden and the 23 MWp project in our western neighbour, Germany. The Italian project may not impress with its size, but our installation teams still had their work cut out for them during the installation. During the final installation of the transformer stations in July, the on-board thermometer read over 50 °C. At this time of year, therefore, most work in southern Europe has to take place early in the morning or in the late afternoon, when conditions are slightly more favourable for both people and equipment. This is one of the reasons why we have scheduled the implementation of another 30 MWp project in Sicily until the autumn.

We will remain active in Italy over the coming months. As our portfolio of projects grows, so does customer confidence, and I am pleased to see that the Greenbuddies sales team is successfully securing further projects in this country and that our presence there is expanding.

The situation will be similar in other parts of Europe. We have projects in the pipeline in Norway, Ireland and France, as well as in our home country of the Czech Republic, where we particularly enjoy building and developing. The range will once again be varied – you can look forward to ground-mounted power stations, rooftop installations and battery storage systems. But more on those in the next issue.

If you’d like to find out more about any of our projects, discuss potential collaboration, or talk about the development of the European energy sector in general, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Yours sincerely,

Dan Štajner
Chief Sales Buddy
