The first of the new EPC projects is a 5.29 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant in Mordano for Sonne Pur Bau. The project marks the beginning of a long-term partnership, and further joint projects are already in the works. The second contract signed is for the construction of a 4.4 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant in Copertino for KPV Solar.
Greenbuddies is not starting from scratch in the Italian market; it has implemented several major projects there in the past. For example, they built ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants in four locations near Venice with a total capacity of 11.6 MWp for companies primarily in the agricultural sector as part of the Piano Transizione 5.0 programme, and they also completed a 16 MWp project near the city of Ferrara using sun-tracking technology. These projects have confirmed their ability to operate successfully in the Italian market and have created a solid foundation for further growth.
Italy is a natural step for us in the next phase of our international expansion. Thanks to the opening of Greenbuddies branch in Italy last year, we have a strong local presence in the market, and we are now solidifying it with concrete projects. These two new projects are an important milestone and open up opportunities for further collaboration with developers and investors, particularly in areas such as sustainable building practices and innovative financing solutions that can enhance our market position.
