Greenbuddies fill the roofs of Budapest shopping centres with solar panels

Here, the Greenbuddies team provides complete EPC delivery for our client. The project involves a team of GB experts across design work, procurement specialists and a project team managed on-site by our experienced site-manager Gyorgyi Molnar.

A big challenge for us was the low load on the roofs, which we managed to solve with a company that supplies light and stable structures that don't require a lot of ballast. This is ensured by the most up-to-date wind models. The structure is tested in a wind tunnel to verify the calculations. Work is also carried out in winter if weather permits. The installed PV plants will be used to cover the normal daily consumption of the shopping centres and reduce electricity costs.
