Complete EPC delivery of a ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant
The GreenBuddies team delivered the complete project as an EPC contractor – from project documentation and technical design through the supply of key components to the full construction phase.
The project scope included photovoltaic modules, inverters, transformer station and mounting system, as well as DC and AC electrical installation, grounding, topographic works, handover documentation and complete project and site management.

Mordano PV plant: 5.29 MWp with Zimmermann tracking system
The ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant consists of 7,340 Trina Solar bifacial photovoltaic modules with an output of 720 Wp, 15 Huawei inverters and a Zimmermann single-axis tracker system installed on 1,504 piles.
Single-axis trackers allow photovoltaic modules to follow the movement of the sun throughout the day and use available solar irradiation more efficiently. This technology can increase the energy yield of the plant compared with fixed-tilt mounting structures.
New cooperation and further EPC projects in Italy
The Mordano project represents the first cooperation between GreenBuddies and Sonne Pur Bau GmbH & Co. KG, with further joint projects already under discussion.
Italy represents another important step in GreenBuddies’ international expansion. Thanks to its local presence and team in Italy, the company combines experience from delivering ground-mounted photovoltaic projects across Europe with knowledge of the local market environment.
By completing the Mordano PV project, GreenBuddies further strengthens its position in the field of EPC projects and builds on previous experience with solar parks and tracker-based photovoltaic systems.
