After this test, we went straight to Tritium - a well-known Australian manufacturer of charging stations of the same brand. Tritium expressed interest in working with us first in the service area for selected countries. In practice, after setting up access to their portal, we automatically receive orders for individual charging station repairs (replacements), especially in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Greenbuddies Charging cooperation with IONITY and TRITIUM
01.03.2023
Our joint cooperation with IONITY (charging station manager for Tritium) began in April 2021, where we participated in the repair of the IONITY charging station at the SHELL - Nupaky petrol station, which was the first in the Czech Republic to be equipped with an ultra-fast charging station.
Tritium has also given us access to their training portals, where we have improved the servicing of existing charging stations, but also get information about upcoming new products. This intensive business relationship has been going on for more than a year with the support of IONITY - the operator of a pan-European network of superfast chargers located along major motorway routes. In practice, this typically involves the replacement of components during servicing or the complete replacement of a charging station and its testing. The work is varied and each time quite specific.
Once the service intervention or replacement is completed, we enter all the documents into the TRITIUM portal, where the customer checks and then approves the financial statement.
At the end of last year, TRITIUM achieved significant business success. It has become the preferred supplier of fast charging stations for the SHELL Group's network of service stations. It is estimated that up to 500,000 charging stations will be built by the end of 2025, followed by 2.5 million AC type2 charging stations over the next five years. In addition to Europe, this brand new charging infrastructure will also be deployed in South Africa, Asia, North America and the Middle East.
Tritium has so far built a total of 6,700 fast charging stations in 41 countries.
Here is just a small overview of how time has gone at TRITIUM :
