What surprised you most about working for Greenbuddies?
The thing that surprised me the most about working for Greenbuddies was the sheer number of people and stakeholders involved in the whole project process. Excellent communication between all stakeholders is necessary for the successful execution of the entire project.
Besides that, the amount of trust and independence that was given to me exceeded my expectations. The working environment can be described as informal, yet results-oriented - but also always ready to go out for a beer to kick off the weekend.
What do you find most difficult about your job?
The most challenging part of my job as an Account Manager is getting the right message across, finding the right people and turning those two aspects into a reliable partnership.
Secondly, as a newcomer to the solar industry, it proved quite difficult for me to fully understand all the technical and operational elements of the project process in a short timeframe.
What do you do when you are not working?
I consider myself to be an active and sociable person who enjoys many hobbies. I go to the gym four times a week and play football with friends twice a week. In the summer I like to ride my motorbike in beautiful places and I also love to travel and explore new places. Last but not least, I also like to go for a beer.
How would someone describe you?
My friends and family would describe me as a sociable person who is very open, honest and fair. Sometimes I'm a little too honest, which means that sometimes it would be better for me to be more strategic in my choice of words. But I don't think that detracts from my sense of humor.
