As part of a project in southern Italy, Greenbuddies is carrying out a complete overhaul of a 1 MWp photovoltaic power plant, converting the original fixed-mount installations with central inverters into a modern system featuring trackers and string inverters. The project includes dismantling the existing photovoltaic system, installing a new tracker system and photovoltaic modules, complete DC cabling, string wiring, and subsequent testing. The project is being carried out near the Italian city of Verona, where the steeply sloping terrain and uneven surface present a significant technical challenge. Thanks to their experience with repowering and revamping, Greenbuddies are modernizing older PV plants with the goal of increasing their efficiency, output, and long-term operational reliability.
