Rottenbach

The Rottenbach project is situated in the Coburg region of Germany, in the immediate vicinity of the A73 motorway. The location of the solar park was designed to make use of a suitable site outside the built-up area of the municipality, whilst also enabling the efficient use of the land for the generation of electricity from renewable sources. The project was carried out as a turnkey EPC contract, with Greenbuddies assuming responsibility for the coordination and implementation of the individual construction phases right through to the connection of the electrical systems.
The works included mechanical and electrical work associated with the construction of the photovoltaic system, including the assembly of support structures, the installation of photovoltaic modules and inverters, the laying of DC and AC cabling, earthing and other related electrical installation works. Greenbuddies also managed the construction site, coordinated the various activities, monitored the technical execution and prepared the project for subsequent commissioning.
