The Greenbuddies team carried out operational and maintenance (O&M) work on a ground-mounted photovoltaic power station, with a focus on improving the efficiency and long-term reliability of the existing system. The scope of work included cleaning the photovoltaic modules to remove dirt and optimise their performance. The work was carried out by qualified Greenbuddies staff using high-pressure cleaning equipment provided by the customer.
The project also involved coordinating the work at the power plant, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and procedures for working on an operational photovoltaic installation. These maintenance activities built on Greenbuddies’ experience in the field of O&M and the modernisation of photovoltaic power plants, with the aim of extending the service life of the equipment, maintaining optimal performance and preparing existing photovoltaic power plants for further efficient operation.
