Badia Polesine

The Badia Polesine project, located on the outskirts of the Italian town of the same name, is one of Greenbuddies’ major projects in the Italian market. The ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant, with an installed capacity of 25 MWp, comprises 44,691 photovoltaic modules with a capacity of 560 Wp, a Pradecon mounting system, and 105 Huawei 215 inverters.

Greenbuddies’ scope of work included complete mechanical and electrical installation—assembly of modules and inverters, DC cabling and testing, AC cabling, installation of cable glands, and grounding. The project also included site and project management, documentation review, material acceptance, and provision of the necessary equipment and site facilities.

Construction was complicated by challenging weather conditions, particularly frequent rain and fog. Despite this, thanks to the efforts of more than 60 workers, the project was successfully completed. Badia Polesine thus marked an important step in Greenbuddies’ further development in the Italian market and demonstrated our team’s ability to execute large-scale photovoltaic projects even under challenging conditions.
